The winter transfer window is finally here and every Soccer team is thinking about adding some fresh blood to the squad. Arsenal is a team to watch in January, as they want to take an opportunity to make an important pit stop before the second half of the 2015/16 season. The target for Arsene Wenger’s side is clear – to finally win the championship after 12 years without winning the Premier League title.

Fresh blood

Arsenal is currently at the top position in the league with two more points than Leicester and three more than Manchester City. The Gunners have a great chance to finally bring the title to the Emirates Stadium, but they can help themselves in achieving that goal by doing some business in the transfer window.

At the start of the season,Arsene Wenger thought that his squad was really strong and it was hard to argue with that at the time, but many injuries forced players like Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck, and Thomas Rosicky to miss playing time. Arsene Wenger desperately needs new players in the midfield positions, and ‘Le Boss’ admitted it to

‘I would like our injured players to come back to the squad. Then I think one transfer would make a difference for us. We can still use our young talented players like Calum Chambers, Alex Iwobi, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Krystian Bielik, and Joseph Willock but they don’t have enough experience. They have the quality, but I can’t play them every week.’ – said Frenchman Arsene Wenger.

Will Arsenal sign new striker?

A player who could potentially become an Arsenal player is Mohamed Elneny. According to very reliable sources, Arsenal is really close to bringing him to north London, as he will become their first signing of the winter transfer window. With the long term injury of Danny Welbeck, Arsenal need to look for another centre-forward, as Olivier Giroud is their only top-quality striker.

Arsene Wenger is eyeing a shocking $60 million move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who plays for the German side, Borussia Dormund.
