Tonight, NXT returns to the WWE Network for the first time since WWE NXT TakeOver: London. After a Monday Night Raw featuring the Slammy Awards and a special edition of SmackDown airing live on the USA Network last night, the developmental roster from Full Sail University wants to keep the positive momentum going. They hope to do so by booking the return of one of the biggest NXT stars and a Fatal Four-Way involving the NXT Tag Team Champions.

While there are only three matches scheduled for tonight's pre-taped event, the matches were performed in front of an extremely hot London crowd immediately following TakeOver.

The full, spoiler-free preview of tonight's show includes the following matches:

  • Blake and Murphy vs. Jason Jordan and Chad Gable vs. The Vaudevillains vs. The Hype Bros: The NXT Tag Team Champions compete in a non-title Fatal Four-Way after successfully defending the titles at TakeOver: London against Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady.
  • "The Drifter" Elias Samson vs. Bull Dempsey: While Elias Samson has been competing on NXT television for some time, this will be his first televised match utilizing the much-hyped Drifter gimmick.
  • Sami Zayn vs. Tye Dillinger: In perhaps the most anticipated return in NXT history, the former El Generico faces "The Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger in front of a London crowd that was incredibly receptive. Sami Zayn is a former NXT Champion who had reached new heights in his Wrestling career when he injured his shoulder on the way to the ring for a match on WWE Monday Night Raw. John Cena was ready for the next opposition to answer his weekly U.S. Championship Open Challenge. In Zayn's hometown of Montreal, one of Zayn's childhood heroes, Bret "The Hitman" Hart met John Cena in the ring. When Hart announced that Cena's challenger would be Sami Zayn, the crowd went ballistic. However, in one of the most curious injuries in WWE history, Zayn's should became dislocated when he threw his arms up in the air in response to the raucous WWE Universe reaction.

Tonight's episode of WWE NXT airs live on the WWE Network at 8:00 PM EST.
