Mixed martial arts UFC fighting fans are set to enjoy a matchup between Anjos vs. Cerrone on Saturday as they both vie for the lightweight belt. Additionally, talk has been going around about the possibility of a matchup between Donald Cerrone and Conor McGregor, but Cerrone says he wants to concentrate on the upcoming Anjos vs. Cerrone fight where he will be pitted against Rafael dos Anjos for the title of lightweight champ.

Cerrone, also known to fans as Cowboy, says he has been working on his wrestling skills, and that he is back to drinking beer, having fun and living his life. He says that’s how he focuses on the fight, by not focusing on it.

Second matchup of Anjos vs. Cerrone

This is the second fight that will feature a matchup of Anjos vs. Cerrone. Dos Anjos beat Cerrone in August 2013 by a unanimous decision, but since that time, Cerrone hasn't lost a fight, and has gotten eight straight wins in a 17-month timeframe.

He is said to have used the loss to get back to training harder and evidently the wins show the results.

However, Cerrone has not been in a fight since May, as the UFC decided to keep him from getting injured so he’d be ready for his title shot. Dos Anjos has been recovering from a knee injury. Saturday’s fight is scheduled to start at 8 pm and will take place at the Amway Center, in Orlando, Florida, and be broadcast by FOX TV.

As of now, experts are predicting that the victor in Saturday’s match will be Dos Anjos.

They say that RDA is very strong, fast and extremely well-rounded as a “pound-for-pound” candidate. Cerrone better be ready because unless something like a flash knockout happens, the fight could feature a little of everything for Cerrone to be able to win against Dos Anjos.

Dos Anjos is said to be a good wrestler, and a confident one, but also has a black belt in jiu-jitsu, and could dominate the scorecards should he be landing lots of punches as Cerrone does his triangle chokes against him.

Experts say that Cerrone needs to put in some offensive style of fighting if he wants to beat Dos Anjos, but that Dos Anjos could be the winner and get keep hid title in Saturday’s championship Anjos vs. Cerrone matchup.
