Arsenal is for sure one of the best teams in Europe. Back in the day, they managed to dominate the English Premier League (going undefeated and winning the title in the 2003/2004 season). But, after the glory days, the old generation of players finished their careers and Arsenal changed their philosophy of managing the club. They could not win any major trophy in eight years, but they finally lifted the FA Cup in the 2014 and then they won it back-to-back in 2015.

After a few years of trophy drought they're finally back in business, and, after 17 weeks of the new season they are the biggest title contenders.

The Gunners are currently in the second position in the league table just behind Leicester City and four points ahead of Manchester City.

Who will win the title?

The game between Leicester and Manchester City is a win-win situation for Arsenal. The best scenario for Arsene Wenger's side is a draw, which will put them on top (and possibly six points ahead of their biggest rivals). Any other result -- Leicester City or Manchester City victory would be good for them, too.

There's a long way to go (21 more rounds), but at this moment, Arsenal are title favorites and they just need to stay consistent for the rest of the season. One thing that can stop The Gunners is their problem with injuries. Players like Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck, and Alexis Sánchez are out due to injuries, but thankfully, other footballers have been able to step up.

The Gunners are hunting for the championship

Mesut Ozil is shining in every aspect of the game and doing it all in the process: assisting, scoring goals, and making his teammates better. He is a true leader for Arsene Wenger and probably the best player of the season in the English Premier League. The possible loss of the German maestro could be devastating for the Londoners, but Arsenal fans can be optimistic about their title chances this season.

Let's enjoy their road to potentially winning their first championship since Thierry Henry's era!
