Premier League Title Contenders

Manchester City is the bookmakers’ favorites" to win the whole campaign despite their shocking 1-4 loss to Liverpool in the last round. They dominated the first weeks of the new season and were unbeaten in the first nine games. They have many star players that can change the game to their advantage. But Manchester City still need to improve their defensive game. Arsenal is looking strong this season as their squad is the best since their move to the Emirates Stadium. Their new goalkeeper, Petr Cech, has been a great addition to the team.

Also players like Hector Bellerin, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud have stepped up their game and the German maestro -Mesut Ozil is finally proving his quality and value. But The Gunners have the same problems as in previous seasons – injuries -- and that can ruin their title hopes this season.

There are many critics of Manchester United’s playing style under Louis van Gaal, but they need to admit that the Red Devils still have a habit of grinding out results.

French wonder-kid Anthony Martial has been a great complement for United and keeping hold of probably the best goalkeeper in the world – David de Gea -- has also boosted their chances to win the title this year, but many question whether United has the firepower to win the title.
