FC Barcelona beat Real Madrid in the first El Classico of this season with an impressive 4-0 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu. Two goals from Luis Suarez, one from Neymar and one from Adres Iniesta sealed their 10th El Classico win from previous fifteen meetings between these two clubs.

The game was watched by nearly 400 million people worldwide and everyone hoped for a great spectacle. In front of this audience Luis Enrique’s side put on a performance that nobody was expecting as Barca dominated Real, who rarely threatened the Primiera Division leaders. Even when Galacticos created chances they were stopped by Barcelona’s goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, who helped his team to prevent Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema from scoring goals.

Barcelona took the lead just after eleven minutes as Sergi Roberto passed the ball to Luis Suarez who made no mistake putting the ball next to Real’s goalkeeper with a first-time shot.

Real should have scored an equalizer but Claudio Bravo saved James Rodriguez'sshot in the 28th minute. A few moments later Karim Benzema couldn’t find the target and the score was still 1-0.

In the 39th minute Brazilian wonder-kid Neymar doubled the lead as he took advantage of Real’s defensive errors and slotted the ball under Keylor Navas, giving Barcelona their second goal. After the break, Barcelona continued to dominate the game and showed their class once again in the 53th minute when Andres Iniesta played one-two passes with Neymar and drilled the ball past Real’s goalie.

Fourth goal for Barcelona was scored by Luis Suarez, who finished Messi and Neymar action with the brilliant chip finish.
