Manchester United finally took a victory against Everton and ended a run of defeats in games with ‘The Toffies’ as they beat Roberto Martinez’s side in a brilliant 3-0 win today. All goals in the game came from midfielders, who managed to beat American goalkeeper Tim Howard three times. Before travelling to the Goodison Park, Manchester United lost three previous matches against the hosts and their fans expected a though game and in the first ten minutes it seemed that they were right.

But in the 18th minute of the game Manchester United’s defensive midfielder, Morgan Schnederlain scored his first goal for the new club.

Louis van Gaal’s team deserved that goal, as the dominated their rivals in the opening minutes. Just four minutes later,Manchester United doubled their lead thanks to Ander Herrera, who took many advices from Paul Scholes about how to score more goals and he finished perfect left-wing cross from defender Rojo.

Red Devils' manager Louis van Gaal decided to play Ander Herrera behind two strikers, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial, who joined the club in the last transfer window. Meanwhile, Memphis Depay was took out of the first team and started the game from the bench. The strategy worked as Everton found offensive trio really dangerous. Especially Anthony Martial caused many problems for the defenders, as he strengthened the attacking line.

The teenager should have scored his first goal in the game, but Seamus Coleman stopped him near the penalty box and the referee decided it wasn’t a foul. In the second half,Manchester Unitedcontinued to dominate the central midfield and their rivals couldn’t prevent them from attacking the wings. In 68th minute Red Devils have scored again as Wayne Rooney finally broke his strike without a goal in the league.

He took advantage of a great pass from Ander Herrera and have found the net inside Tim Howard’s near post.

After this victory,Manchester United moved to second place in the English Premier League table, but if Arsenal will win their game by two goals, then Louis van Gaal's side will be at the third position.
