The Capital One cup Round of 16 came to its climax on Wednesday with great games played around England and lots and lots of upsets. Trust me the English Premier League teams had their 'worst' midweek encounter against the English Championship teams for a very very long time.

On Tuesday 27th October, 2015 - Matchday 1 of the Round of 16 of the capital cup Results:

Everton FC - Norwich City - Result: 1 - 1 (Penalty 4 - 3) - Neutral

Sheffield Wednesday - Arsenal FC - Result: 3 - 0 - High Upset

Hull City - Leicester City - Result: 1 - 1 - (Penalty 5 - 4) Low Upset

Stoke City - Chelsea FC - Result: 1 - 1 - (Penalty 5 - 4) Medium Upset

Matchday One of the Capital One Cup - Round of 16 Facts:

Neutral: Everton FC where expected winner for that game as backed by the bookmakers, but they drew the match and then struggles as they won on penalties.

High Upset: An expected winner Lost. The Gunners (Arsenal), who are in the best of form, were'destroyed' by Sheffield Wednesday (when it was not on a Wednesday) by 3 un-replied goals to nothing.

Low Upset: Leicester was held by Hull City to a one all draw after regular time, Leicester was expected to win the match with their current form in the lime light, but they lost on penalties letting the Home team win in front of their fans.

Medium Upset: Some of us might not agree with me on this one because it was supposed to be a high upset, but because 'the blues' did not lose a match they were supposed to win. Chelsea'splay for that night was argueably their best so far this season but once again the lost away from home.

On Wednesday 28th October, 2015 - Matchday 2 of the Round of 16 of the capital cup Results:

Manchester City - Crystal Palace - Result: 5 - 1 - Nice

Southampton FC - Aston Villa - Result: 2 - 1 - Expected

Liverpool FC - AFC Bournemouth - Result: 1 - 0 - Expected

Manchester United - Middlesbrough FC -Result: 0 - 0 - (Penalty 1 - 3) Medium Upset

Matchday Two of the Capital One Cup - Round of 16 Facts:

Nice:This result was highly expected with not with much goals as they was rains of goals and argueably the Best match of the Capital One Cup - Round of 16.

The Citizens were in Red-Hot Form as they demolished Crystal Palace and once again the Man of the Match is the Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho.

Expected: Southampton were clear favorites to win this game as they did and with a goal margin they scale through.

Expected: Liverpool's new boss - Jurgen Kloop get his first win with the club having not lost any game but have drawn 2.

He will be delighted with the one-nil close call of his teams win.

Medium Upset: And once again, the English Premier League "Big Club" side lost to a Championship Team. Manchester United was held to a boring draw after 90 minutes and headed into penalties where all the Red Devil men could not find the back of the net, Losing all three penalties recklessly as they crash out of the Capital One Cup.

Did You Know? Only the Teams at Home won their games in the Round of 16 of the Capital One Cup
