In last interview Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema said, thet he has never considered leaving his current team. After Arsene Wenger’s fail to land French forward, Arsenal is now reportedly looking to sign Benzema’s team-mate, Isco.

Throughout the recent summer transfer window, sports journalists reported that Karim Benzema was on the verge of a move to North London. Many people were sure, that this brilliant striker will join his old friend, Mesut Ozil at the Emirates Stadium, but finally he decided to stay at Santiago Bernabeu. After transfer window deadline day the 27-year-old Frenchman has said that there was no interest from any club and it was just a paper talk.

Benzema said that he is happy in Madrid and he don’t want to join any other club in the nearest future.

After failing to land Benzema, Arsenal is now looking for another Real Madrid player – Isco. Arsenal need to upgrade their central midfield and the Spaniard would be a great addition to the squad. Spanish sports newspaper noted that the young player looks set for another season behind the back of James Rodriguez and suggested that he may change his current location.

The main contenders to sign Real Madrid star will be Manchester City and Juventus, but the journalists indicated that Arsenal would also look to go in for Isco in January and they are ready to prepare higher bid than City and Juventus.

Arsenal have numerous quality attacking midfielders, but Santiago Cazorla is 32 years old and he can’t play in every single game of the long season. Arsene Wenger is known for buying great offensive midfielders and Isco is a top class player.

‘The Gunners’ are still in need of great forward and a defensive midfielder.

If they would splash out on those two areas, they will become a real title contenders. After four games of the new 2015/16 season Arsenal has 7 points and they are at the 6th position in the Premier League table. In the next game they will face Stoke City at Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger is looking forward to collect another three points.
