English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs finally won a match in the new 2015-16 season. Spurs got their first victory as Ryan Mason scored in the last minutes of the game against Sunderland on Sunday. Unfortunetly he was injured in the process and will pause in the next game. Before the game both teams were looking forward for the first win in the new campaign and they thought that they will need to wait until the next weekend, because after 80 minutes the score was 0-0.

But in the final minutes of the game, Tottenham Hotspurs decided to play more aggressive and it was a great choice! Sunderland had their own chances, but they couldn’t find the way to beat Hugo Lloris.

The Black Cats’ had more shots on goal and played really well in defense as they managed to stop Harry Kane, but it wasn’t enough to beat the visitors.

Sunderland’s forward Jermain Defoe created many occasions to open the scoring in the first minutes of the game, but the goalkeeper somehow managed to push his powerful shot onto the post and saved Tottenham from conceding the goal. Defoe also wanted a penalty after having his shirt pulled by Spurs defender, Toby Alderweireld, but the referee decided not to use his whistle in this situation.

The scoreless draw would be ideal to illustrate the game, but one moment of brilliance from Spurs whole offensive formation set up Mason, who found the way to the net, knowing well that he will hurt himself in this situation. But even in their first win in the new 2015-16 season they struggled to impress the fans from White Hart Lane.
