The English Premier League spending spree for the summer has reached its all time record signing value.

How good has the signings of the  20 English Premier League clubs being this summer and their ranking according to the stats and possible potentials of the players (must not consist of ALL players bought by the club, only key players) bought before the transfer summer closed.

Some team made a lot of signings, but that is not the criteria for this ranking. The criteria is what a player adds to them team and not the number of players a team signs. So here we go:-

Ranking from 10th to First

10: BOURNEMOUTH - Coach: Eddie Howe

  • Tyrone Mings: - Ipswich -  £8m
  • Lee Tomlin: - Middlesbrough - £3,500,000 04 
  • Glenn Murray: - C. Palace -  £4m etc
  • Building their tam on established players and are making some headway in the League.

9: CHELSEA F.C - Coach: Jose Mourinho

  • Pedro Ledesma Rodriguez: Signed from Barcelona -  £21m
  • Radamel Falcao: - Monaco - Loan
  • Asmir Begovic: - Stoke - £8m
  • Baba Rahman - Augsburg - £21.7m etc
  • They look weaker than the team who won the league title last season, even with these changes on deadline day.

8.  LIVERPOOL - Coach: Brendan Rogers

  • Nathaniel Clyne: - Southampton £12,500,000
  • Christian Benteke: - Aston Villa - £32,500,000
  • Did the right thing, go the replacements of players left, but no looking like title contenders.

7.   SOUTHAMPTON - Coach: Ronald Koeman

  • Jordy Clasie: Signed from Feyenoord - £8m
  • Oriol Romeu: - Chelsea - £5m
  • Virgil van Dijk - Celtic - £11.5m etc
  • They look weaker than the team who scored a lot of goals with the departure of their key players.

6. ASTON VILLA - Coach: Tim Sherwood

  • Adama Traore: Signed from Barcelona -  £7m
  • Idrissa Gueye: - Lille - £9m
  • Jordan Amavi: - Nice - £7.7m
  • Jordan Ayew: - Lorient - £8.4m etc
  • Tim Sherwood is looking to rebuild this team and make them world class, too who much is given much is expected.

5.   LEICESTER - Coach: Claudio Ranieri

  • Shinji Okazaki: Signed from Mainz 05 -  £7,m
  • N'Golo Kante: Signed from Caen - £5.6m
  • Goekhan Inler: Signed from Napoli - £5m
  • Nathan Dyer: Signed from Swansea - Loan etc
  • They look stronger to me, they are putting up a good fight this time around to be in a better position.

4.  STOKE - Coach: Mark Hughes

  • Shay Given: Signed from Aston Villa -  Transfer Fee: Free
  • Ibrahim Afellay: Signed from  Barcelona - Transfer Fee: Free
  • Xherdan Shaqiri: Signed from  Inter - £12,000,000 etc
  • They have made a lot of signings, most of them are Free transfers but take nothing away from them, they are yet to blend.

3. WEST HAM - Coach: Slaven Bilic

  • Dimitri Payet: Signed from Marseille -  £10,700,000
  • Nikica Jelavic: Signed from Hull - £2m
  • Michail Antonio: Signed from  Nottm Forest - £7m
  • Victor Moses : Signed from  Chelsea - Loan
  • Alex Song: Signed from Barcelona - Loan etc
  • They look stronger to me, with these additions they are in for the "smaller clubs" and shockers for the "bigger" clubs.

2. CRYSTAL PALACE - Coach: Alan Pardew

  • Yohan Cabaye: Signed from Paris St.-G. -  £10,000,000
  • Alex McCarthy: Signed from QPR - £3,500,000
  • Connor Wickham: Signed from  Sunderland 
  • This team has destroyed the likes of Chelsea F.C through the wings and it is because of these additions, I think they are in for the race as well.

1.  MANCHESTER CITY - Coach: Manuel Pellegrini

  • Raheem Sterling: Signed from Liverpool £44,000,000
  • Nicolas Otamendi: Signed from Valencia - £28,500,000
  • Kevin De Bruyne: Signed from  Wolfsburg - £55,000,000
  • The Biggest and the best spenders this summer, already showing their potentials on the field of play.
