Real Madrid have won against their local rivals Espanyol by destroying them in the 6-0 clash on Sunday. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored five goals, as he ended his goal drought in the best way possible. One of the greatest players in the world has proved that he is still capable of producing truly golden moments as he become Real Madrid’s all-time leading goalscorer in La Liga.

Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick in the first 20 minutes of the game and after the brilliant start he was hungry to score more. But the fourth goal was scored by French international Karim Benzema. In the second half of the game, Ronaldo added two more goals to his account and grabbed a new club record, overtaking Real Madrid legend Raul, who has scored 228 goals for the club.

Real Madrid started this game really aggressive as they wanted to score many goals. In the first week of the new season they didn’t score, so they wanted to compensate that game. The first goal for Portuguese superstar came early in the 7th minute of the game as he took full advantage of the brilliant through ball from Luka Modric. After a few minutes the hosts gifted Real a penalty, as their defender fouled Gareth Bale in the box and Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the lead from the penalty spot by putting the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal.

Three minutes later it was 3-0 to Real as Gareth Bale delivered a brilliant cross for Real Madrid superstar who finished the perfect pass with beautiful volley from close range. The Welshman assisted his teammate once again, but this time it was Karim Benzema who finished the great pass from Bale.
