Diego Costa might be facing a three-match ban after being charged for violent conduct during the game between Chelsea F.C and Arsenal F.C on Saturday which Chelsea F.C won by 2 unreplied Goals triggering their title chase and posing a treat to those at the top of the English Premier League table.

A statistic of the match between the both teams shows that D. Costa did not commit a single foul in the game. The Spaniard international was slammed by Gunners (Arsenal F.C) fans for having let their player Gabriel Paulista go off his sports-manship and was sent-off for an improper conduct.

Chelsea F.C defender Kurt Zouma in an interview told beIN Sports that Costa is a "cheat".

But later took to twitter to say that he did not mean cheat, that he should be excused for his wrong choice of words, that Costa is a really nice guy.

D. Costa actually has been charged by the FA (Football Association) for violent conduct during the match where he "allegedly" pushed and gripped Laurent Koscielny. He has until 6pm on Tuesday 22 September 2015 to reply.

Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista was also charged with improper conduct after he intervened "rudely" in the incident between Costa and Koscielny. Paulista has until 6pm on Thursday 24 September 2015 to reply.

While the FA also announced that a warning has been given to Arsenal Midfielder Santi Carzola  about his behour after being sent off.

The Football Association has also charged both clubs [Chelsea and Arsenal] for failing to control their players under FA Rule E20. The respective teams have until 6pm on Thursday 24 September 2015 to reply.

Reactions to charged players and clubs

Former England defender Rio Ferdinand expressed his disappointments about the pattern of play of the Chelsea F.C Striker Diego Costa: He accused Costa of acting like a "petulant baby."

On Telegraph: Harry Redknapp wrote: "Chelsea are lucky to have the Spain striker – he is a proper centre-forward with no need to change". Harry also said that every Manager would love him to be on their side but not against them.
