Its been nearly four months since Brock Lesnar lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 31, and ever since, there hasn't been a more anticipated match in WWE than Lesnar getting his one-on-one shot at Seth Rollins for the WWE Title.

Lesnar's rematch with take place in just over one week at this month's Battleground show on July 19, which is taking place at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and, Lesnar is the favorite to defeat Rollins and regain the WWE World Title.

There's no question that the WWE fans would like to see Brock Lesnar regain the WWE Title. He is, without a doubt, the most popular wrestler on roster right now. However, if Lesnar does win the title, it could be a very short title reign for him, because WWE could be looking to put the title on Roman Reigns at next month's SummerSlam.

Back in March, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were the main event at WrestleMania 31, however, as everyone knows, that match was interrupted by Seth Rollins (who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Roman Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion), which wasn't the original plan.

It was known for several months that WWE was planning on having Roman Reigns defeat Brock Lesnar, and become the new WWE World Champion. However, due to the crowd rejecting Reigns, WWE abruptly changed their plans, and decided to have Rollins walk out as the new WWE champ.

WWE is still interested in doing Reigns vs. Lesnar in a one-on-one match, and they're also still interested in executing the original WrestleMania plan and having Reigns defeat Lesnar, and that could happen as early as next month.

The Inquisitr is reporting that WWE is planning to have two huge matches take place at next month's SummerSlam -- one being Lesnar vs. Reigns, and the other being Seth Rollins vs. Triple H.

As of right now, there are no official matches set for SummerSlam, but it seems likely that WWE is at least going to do Rollins vs. Triple H, and that there's a good chance that they will do Reigns vs. Lesnar for the WWE Title.

Next Sunday's WWE Battleground show will answer a lot of questions about the SummerSlam card. If Seth Rollins somehow retains the WWE Championship, a Lesnar vs. Rollins rematch could take place at SummerSlam. If not, that could mean that WWE is looking to go in the direction of Rollins vs. Triple H, and Lesnar vs. Reigns.
