Spoiler alerts for "General Hospital" are giving conflicting reports related to the departure of Michelle Stafford's character from Port Charles. I don't know the exact details yet, but rumors continue to fly and I will pass them on from reports by Celeb Dirty Laundry and Soap Opera Spy.

Celeb Dirty Laundry teased that Caddy McClain may become Willow's mother. Soap Opera Spy indicated that Nina will leave town, just like Dante, which will lead to Lulu and Valentin comforting each other through their grief. Either way, the strong presence of Stafford will be missed, even as she is welcomed back to Genoa City.

She will play Phyllis on "The Young and the Restless."

Nina may be recast

Celeb Dirty Laundry pointed out that Nina is in a front burner storyline right now on "GH" that is nowhere near ending. The truth must come out that Sasha is not her daughter and that Valentin lied. A bullet was dodged on Monday (April 1), when the DNA test confirmed the lie that Nina has been told. Obrecht will probably smell a rat and keep digging until she uncovers the truth. There also needs to be closure as to whether or not Willow or someone else is her true daughter.

CDL suggests that Caddy McClain, who is married to on Lindstrom, may be recast in the role of Nina Reaves. The spoiler says a set insider indicated that McClain's name has come up a lot recently, but there has been no official confirmation from the show.

A recast would indicate that the character will continue on in Port Charles, even without Valentin.

Valentin and Lulu could hook up if Nina leaves

Soap Opera Spy offered a very interesting possibility, should Nina decide to leave Port Charles The theory teases that with Dante gone, Lulu could be vulnerable to Charlotte's biological dad.

She and Valentin might begin spending time together and share their mutual grief. They may hook up because they both are grieving the loss of their spouses.

Lulu promised Dante she would wait for him forever, but in time, her feelings may change. Valentin does not seem like the choice, because Laura and her daughter believe he murdered Nikolas.

Time, however, may heal this wound, especially if the Cassadine Prince returns from the dead.

Will Nina stay or will she go, there is only one way to find out? My favorite daytime drama airs Monday through Friday at 2:00 PM ET. Also, don't forget to catch Michelle Stafford on new episodes of "Y&R," each afternoon on CBS.
