"Call of Duty" is one of the most popular Video Games franchises. Until now, the video game was limited to PC and gaming consoles. Meanwhile, fans of this video game franchise will soon enjoy the game on a mobile platform. The news of "Call of Duty" being made as a mobile version is becoming a reality as Activision said that the First Person Shooter (FPS) game made by them will be available by the middle of this year.

Activision and Tencent announced that "Call of Duty: Mobile" will reach Europe and North America very soon. For the beta phase, the game is scheduled to enter the trial phase this summer, before finally being released in bulk to Android and iOS based devices.

The game publisher announced it at the Game Developers Conference event last week. It is worth noting that "CoD: Mobile" launched in China and Australia under the title "Call of Duty: Legends of War," is a free to play game.

Registration of the game

"CoD: Mobile" is developed in collaboration between Activision, Tencent, and Timi Studios specifically for smartphones and tablets. Recently, the teaser of the game was also released. Starting today, fans can register to enjoy "CoD: Mobile" through callofduty.com/mobile. Once the registration is done, you will receive the latest updates, and you will be able to access the beta that will be available this summer in certain regions. The good news is that Activision guarantees that later the "Call of Duty: Mobile" game can be downloaded for free by users in the application store.

"CoD: Mobile" will be the series' first real experiment with the free-to-play distribution model that's increasingly being tested for big-budget games, reports Fool.
