As a result, the anime should stop, temporarily, on March 30, 2019, with the airing of its Episode 24. On Saturday, February 16, a summary episode will be aired, entitled "Recollection," only six episodes should still separate us from the conclusion of the second cour. If the series is to return for the rest of its third season, it won't be until after May 18, and that's if the series returns to its previous time slot.

Unfortunately, we do not know yet when the series will return to Japanese television to show fans the second half of the aforementioned narrative arc, but it is likely that the pause lwill last about six months. Talking about "Sword Art Online: Alicization's" story, the anime is now entering in its second part. The anime continues the events, which shows protagonists Kirito, Eugeo, and Alice in the virtual world.
