The "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" is only a couple of days away from its major international release, and a new announcement about the movie has created even more hype. The anime series has been on a long break since its final episode of "Universal Survival Saga," which aired back in March 2018.

But now the series is finally returning with its release on the big screen.

Limited time IMAX release

A large number of fans have already pre-ordered their tickets for watching the "Dragon Ball Super: Broly [VIDEO]" at their nearest theaters, but Funimation recently announced huge news about the movie's viewing.

Other than that, the movie is going to play in regular theaters across the United States anyway.

What is IMAX?

IMAX is a viewing technique that provides immersive audio and video experience. Originally, IMAX was a 65mm film format, the biggest and highest-resolution motion picture film format in the world. Compared to regular theaters, IMAX has a giant screen and more field of view as well. The seats are generally closer to the screen, which pushes the edges of the image far enough so that you can feel immersed in the scene.

The early reviews of "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" from various reviewers and the Japanese release definitely makes it worth watching the epic Saiyan battles go down on a giant screen. The film was a huge success and has already earned $32 million at the global box office.

The movie is set to be released on January 16 in the United States and Canada. There are various release dates for different countries and recently, the Movies finally announced its release in Bangladesh. Neighboring countries like India and Pakistan are still waiting for confirmation of the movie's release.
