The latest updates for the live-action "Venom" movie reveal new details about the symbiotes and their goal in the story. IGN conducted several interviews with the production crew of the movie, and each member reveals their take on why the symbiotes arrive on earth in the first place.

The Marvel film's official soundtrack also teased another ally helping Eddie Brock and his symbiote against the Life Foundation. The film is set in a world separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it centers on Eddie's investigation on the Life Foundation after overhearing that they are illegally experimenting on humans with aliens.

The Symbiotes arrive on earth

According to IGN, VFX supervisor Paul Franklin stated that symbiotes arrive on Earth via space pod as the Life Foundation were the first ones to find them drifting through space. They found out that their space probe was searching for signs of life and the corporation collected them for study and innovations.

However, Franklin added that the symbiotes wanted to found by the Life Foundation and plans to inhabit their planet as a means to survive.

"They’re looking for planets where they can find hosts to inhabit," Franklin told IGN. "They’ve never really found a place where they can exist in harmony with the life forms of whatever planet they find themselves on."

As for the Life Foundation, production designer Oliver Scholl that the corporation's ideas and goals to make humanity better is just a dark cover up for their illegal and dangerous experiments.

Franklin also revealed that there are more symbiotes in the pod with different colors and that Venom is only one who wants to coexist with its house as opposed to taking them over.

A new friend teased in 'Venom's' official soundtrack

The official soundtrack names for the "Venom" movie has been announced, and it contains 18 original songs.

However, comic book fans who have seen the soundtrack claim that one particular song hinted a new ally for Eddie and his symbiote.

Track 16 titled "Unexpected Ally" hinted that Venom would have an unexpected help from one of the characters in the film. Unfortunately, it did not reveal who that person is but Screen Rant speculated that it could be another symbiote helping Eddie fight the Life Foundation.

It was previously reported that the film had a PG-13 rating and Fandango writer Erik Davis explained that the rating would allow Sony to let Venom do a crossover with Spider-Man. The film will premiere in cinemas on October 5.
