December is filled with a lot of action movies, and, for "Dragon Ball" fans, this year's movie release is the biggest one we've ever seen. The wait for the movie got even tougher when the second trailer for the movie dropped at San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Watch the trailer below if you haven't already:

Plot summary

The summary was revealed shortly after the release of the new trailer. Thanks to Herms, the summary has been translated from Japanese to English.

According to Comic Book, the summary doesn't reveal anything new about the movie, but it's clear now that Broly is indeed a new Saiyan that no one knew about.

It also puts an end to the debate of whether the movie takes place in the past or after the events of the Tournament of Power. With that being said, some fans are still not sure how Goku and Vegeta meet Broly for the first time. Does Broly arrive on Earth or do Goku and Vegeta travel to a distant planet? We'll get the answer when the movie is out.

Possible Planet Vegeta leak

In Japan, "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" pamphlets are being handed out at conventions called the "Dragon Ball Super Movie Roadshow." The front page of the pamphlet shows drawings of Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, which can be colored.

The back of the pamphlet shows a landscape that looks like another planet, with Akira Toriyama's comments about the movie. There are also scenes from the upcoming movie at the bottom of the pamphlet. Aside from the comments, the large sideways letters translate to "Beyond true strength, there is----," which could mean that fans will get to see Goku's Mastered Ultra Instinct technique in this movie as well.

The landscape, however, is the most interesting part of this pamphlet.

According to Comic Book, this movie will delve into the history of the Saiyans, but the battles in the movie might take place in multiple places, with one of them being this new planet. If you look closely, the structure in the pamphlet resembles the one we saw in the "Broly -- The Legendary Super Saiyan" movie.

This new structure is probably designed by a Saiyan (possibly Paragus), so this is definitely not Earth.

This new planet also resembles Planet Sadala, which is a planet inhabited by Saiyans from Universe 6.

This new info hints that we'll be seeing a Saiyan planet in the upcoming movie and it could be Planet Vegeta, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

The new "Dragon Ball Super" movie is set to be released on December 14, 2018 in Japan. Funimation has acquired the theatrical rights to the movie and is planning to release it in the United States and Canada in January 2019.
