Tyler Baltierra has been working hard at his physique in recent months, and boy, is it paying off. On Sunday, the longtime "Teen Mom OG" dad and husband of Catelynn Lowell took to his Instagram page and shocked fans with an incredibly sexy photo taken of himself posing shirtless in front of a mirror. In the caption, Baltierra revealed that he's lost a whopping 40 pounds over the past six months.

"Hard work is paying off!" Baltierra wrote in the caption of the June 9 social media photo, according to a report from Us Weekly magazine. "It’s been 6 months since completely changing my eating habits.

I dropped 40 lbs and now it’s time to cut it all up with these workouts, BOOM!" Baltierra also included the hashtags "Crushing These Personal Goals" and "It Feels Great" with his post.

Catelynn Lowell went to rehab at the end of last year

In November 2017, weeks after tragically miscarrying their third child, Lowell surfaced on Twitter where she shockingly revealed that she'd had thoughts of suicide and told fans she would be entering into a treatment program in rehab, where she would be addressing her mental health issues. In the months that followed, Lowell continued to treat her issues in rehab as her husband, Tyler Baltierra, was secretly struggling with his own hardships as he attempted to maintain their home and care for their child as a single dad.

Tyler Baltierra spoke of his biopolar diagnosis during the 'Teen Mom OG' season seven reunion

Following Catelynn Lowell's struggles, she and Tyler Baltierra attended the "Teen Mom OG" season seven reunion special, where he opened up to host Dr. Drew Pinsky about his secret struggle with biopolar disorder. As fans may recall, Baltierra explained his outlook on his mental illness and revealed to the doctor that he wasn't planning on treating his issues with prescription pills.

Instead, he wants to take a more holistic approach to treatment and find a natural remedy to help himself cope with the side effects of the disorder.

As for Catelynn Lowell, she is reportedly being treated for issues with depression with prescription medications as she and Baltierra head for season eight.

Tyler Baltierra and his co-stars, including Catelynn Lowell, Ryan Edwards, Maci Bookout, Taylor McKinney, Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley, and Andrew Glennon, are expected to return to MTV sometime later this year for "Teen Mom OG" season eight. There has been no word yet on when filming will begin, nor when the new season will premiere.
