Aside from the upcoming animated movie of the same title, Toei Animation is bringing to life the popular arcade game “Dragon Ball Heroes.” It can be recalled that the company has assigned a full division in charge of expanding the franchise. New anime

The fandom had mixed reactions when the news about a new anime based on the popular card game “Dragon Ball Heroes,” was dropped recently on social media.

The news triggered excitement for some fans who have long been dreaming of seeing Super Saiyan 4 come to life. On the popular social networking site Twitter [VIDEO], popular content creator under the name YonkouProd shared the latest scan released by the Japanese publication Weekly Shonen Jump. It reveals fan-favorite characters like Super Saiyan Blue Son Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Vegeta, and Fu. The poster also shows Mai and an older version of Trunks, which fans saw in “Dragon Ball Super” as a cute and small kid.

Details of the anime show a distinct title

As revealed by YonkouProd, the anime is going to be a PR title. This means that it is intended to promote a distinct title. In this instance, the anime is promoting the popular arcade game along with its most recent arcs, Universe Survival and Prison Planet.

In addition, it is not going to be like the regular TV anime series. Instead, it will be a short one with the number of episodes still unknown. So far, there is no telling when the anime will premiere and how long it is going to run. Fans are hoping that the PR anime will last at least until December.

The latest scan from the Weekly Shonen Jump also reveals that the pre-screening of the first episode [VIDEO] of “Dragon Ball Heroes” will be on July 1, 2018. It will be held at Ion Lake Town. The Japanese publication also states that while it is only a PR anime, the team is going to create several episodes to extend its length. The upcoming animated movie “Dragon Ball Super,” on the other hand, will be available to Japanese fans on December 14, 2018. Fans are hoping that there will be a simultaneous worldwide release.
