kim zolciak will not be featured on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" when the show returns to Bravo for an 11th season later this year or early next year. However, while the mother of six suggested to TMZ earlier this month that she was leaving the show because it added unnecessary drama to her life, there may have been a bit more that went into the decision.
According to a report from Us Weekly on April 19, the decision for Zolciak to leave the show wasn't only hers. Instead, it was a mutual decision made between the longtime reality star and the network after her co-stars refused to film scenes for the show with her.
"They refuse,” an insider told the magazine.
What's happening with Sheree Whitfield?
Although Kim Zolciak's friend and co-star Sheree Whitfield likely wouldn't hesitate to film with Zolciak, she will reportedly be missing from the cast during season 11 as well. Although no casting news for season 11 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been confirmed quite yet, rumors have been swirling that suggest Whitfield was fired from the show after production came to an end on season 10.
Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes ended 'RHOA' season 10 with a bang
After both of the women chose to return to the show for season 10 after taking several seasons off, some fans and followers of the series believed they would finally put an end to their years-long feud.
Unfortunately, that wasn't how things went down between them. In fact, they ended the season with tension at an all-time high after Zolciak's daughter Brielle Biermann accused Leakes and her husband, Greg Leakes, of having a cockroach-infested home.
Following a bevy of insults and even an allegation of Kim Zolciak and her family being racists, Zolciak took to her Instagram page to offer an apology to Leakes in regard to their dramatic falling out. “I am so sorry for what has happened [Nene Leakes]," she began. Zolciak then took brutal aim at her co-star, claiming that if she wanted to, she could sue her for the alleged lies she's told about her. In response to Zolciak's statement, Leakes took to Twitter and encouraged Zolciak to file a case against her and said she'd love to see her former co-star take her on in court.
To see the last of Kim Zolciak on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," don't miss the third installment of the series' season 10 reunion on Sunday night at 8 p.m. on Bravo TV. There has been no word yet on whether Leakes will be featured on season 11.
