Javi Marroquin appeared on the "Teen Mom Time" podcast earlier this week and discussed the possibility of getting back with his former wife, Kailyn Lowry, the mother of his four-year-old son, Lincoln Marshall Marroquin. Weeks after a dramatic split from Briana DeJesus, Marroquin addressed his potential reunion with Lowry, claiming that while nothing is certain, he and Lowry have spoken of the possibility more than once.

During the interview, via a March 1 Radar Online report, Marroquin said that he and Lowry have had their own “private discussions" about rekindling their romance, but because so much has happened between them in the past, their relationship is highly complicated.

That said, he claims to have moved on from their past issues and feels that they are both in a better place these days. He then labeled their relationship as "weird" and said that while he can't explain their dynamic, he is dedicated to maintaining a healthy relationship with Lowry and her boys, including her oldest son, eight-year-old Isaac Rivera.

Javi Marroquin split from Briana DeJesus in February

After initially parting ways with DeJesus in January, Marroquin attempted to reunite with his fellow "Teen Mom 2" star prior to her series of surgeries on February 1. However, after seeing that her former boyfriend Devoin Austin was present at the hospital when she went under the knife, he changed his mind and quickly flew home to Delaware from Florida.

The couple dated for just months after DeJesus was added to the cast of the MTV reality series.

Javi Marroquin weighs in on David Eason's firing from 'Teen Mom 2'

In regard to MTV's most recent statement about the firing of Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason, Marroquin expressed his disappointment, claiming that he never heard an apology for his former co-stars' homophobic tweets.

As he explained, people should own up to their behavior and apologize when they are in the wrong. The "Teen Mom 2" dad also said that Eason's firing was "well deserved" and said that his own opinions greatly differed from that of his ex-co-star. "I don’t associate myself with people like that,” Marroquin added.

Javi Marroquin and Kailyn Lowry are currently in production for the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2" with their co-stars, including Briana DeJesus, Leah Messer, Jenelle Evans, and Chelsea Houska, but a premiere date has not yet been set. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
