Were you playing "Fortnite: #Battle Royale" game this weekend? Then we're sure you might have noticed a major weapon missing from the game. Well, no it has not been discontinued or anything. Sources reveal that the weapon is missing in action because of some #Bug issues in the game. It's been temporarily removed until #Epic can find a solution and fix the problem. The Boogie Bomb has been pointed as the source of the bug and team Epic announced on their "Fortnite" Twitter feed that the Boogie Bomb has been removed from the game.

New issue with 'Fortnite: Battle Royale'

They also mentioned that they have disabled the weapon temporarily until they figure out a way to fix the issue.

They also mentioned that updates will be provided as and when they make progress. On this, the "Fortnite [VIDEO]" players have further stated that the bug causing all of this was a mistake which allowed players carrying the Boogie Bomb to carry an unlimited number of items. Apparently, "Fortnite: Battle Royale," resource management is a big part of the strategy in the game. For those new, the game's map is filled with loot, guns, healing items, and grenades to name a few.

The game's official Twitter handle tweeted with the caption "Due to a bug with the Boogie Bomb, we’re going to be temporarily disabling it until we’re able to fix it. We’ll update you once this issue is solved."

However, in the game [VIDEO], deciding what gear one wants to carry and what one wants to actually pass, plays an important role since it prepares the player for encounters ahead.

So if there was a bug that just allowed players to pick up the gear a number of times, then that's actually a problem. It creates a problem in the "Fortnite: Battle Royale" because it's unfair for players to have unlimited guns, but it's also wrong for other players who then come to know that all the weapons have already been picked up.

What's more

It's good that Epic has taken the matter into their hands and are trying to fix the problem as soon as possible. It's further great to see that everyone knows about the problem and what's going on in the game. With this, Epic has also announced that the weapons will be removed from the game on a timely basis, sometimes for good so that no one disrupts the game further, and sometimes on rotation for a while. With this, Epic decided to inform the players about the bug to avoid the mild panic about the game. We can now wait for the team to bring our weapons back in the game. Stay tuned for more "Fortnite: Battle Royale" updates.
