Recently, makers and voice actors of the show have hinted that the anime is ended for time being but not permanently. However, makers haven't revealed when the show will return.

The show-runners are currently focusing on the upcoming movie, which will release in December 2018.

Talking about the "DB" movie, it is said to be Saiyan [VIDEO]focus movie, revealing their origins.

One can expect a lot of new characters in the film. Akira Toriyama is the writer of the film and he also worked on the characters for the movie. The film was earlier announced in December 2017. Furthermore, the trailer and the poster of the movie have already been released.

Next season of Universe Survival arc

When will we come back to next season of the Universe Survival arc? Recently, Krillin's [VIDEO]voice actor said, “Oh, there will be another portion about Kuririn, although the Universe Survival [arc] is reaching it’s [sic] climax, “Dragon Ball” will still continue, so it does not feel like it is the end." reports ComicBook. So, when one can expect the possible return of the show? "GeGeGe no Kitar" has started in the timeslot of "DBS." According to JapanToday, "Nozawa and several other voice actors from "Dragon Ball Super" will be taking on roles in the upcoming "GeGeGe no Kitaro." It will run for more than fifty episodes in the timeslot that "DBS" had.

According to ComicBook, "A 50+ episode order is usually given to big titles with non-seasonal schedules." It means the anime is here for at least one year. In summary, the next "DBS" installment could come in April or May 2019 at the soonest.
