"Dragon Ball Super" is now finally ended. The last Episode of the anime show was aired on the March 25. The ending of the show was an absolutely emotional moment for the fans as they had been watching the show and their beloved characters since 2015. Fans now want to know when the TV series will return. Meanwhile, as most of the fans already know, the new "Dragon Ball" movie is coming in December. It will release on December 14 as the trailer and the poster have already been released.

The film was earlier announced in December 2017. It will be based on the origins of the Saiyans [VIDEO]. Akira Toriyama worked on the script and the characters of the movie. Fans will witness a number of new characters in the film and a mysterious villain.

The return of 'Dragon Ball Super'

Coming back to the Universe Survival arc's return. Akira Toriyama and TOEI recently hinted that the show is ending for the time being and not permanently. According to ComicBook, after the release of Episode 131, famous translator @Herms98 shared what narrator said to the fans. “Their endless training to their limits continues. Perhaps when a new strong opponent appears, Goku and co.'s days of adventure will begin again,” the translation reads. “Until then, this is a brief parting. Everyone, let's all meet again!”

In a recent interview by Masako Nozawa, the Voice Actor of Goku talked about the possible return of the anime. "While the TV anime is taking a little break, there’s still the movie in December, and I hope that another TV series will start up while the iron is still hot,” Nozawa explained.

“I’m sure Goku will keep on training like always. Because the world of Dragon Ball [VIDEO]will just keep on going and going!,” reports ComicBook. There might not be confirmation in this statement, but one thing is quite clear, there are healthy chances that the franchise will return sometime in future, sooner or later.

The last episode

Episode 131 of "Dragon Ball Super" was named as "The Miraculous Conclusion! Farewell, Goku! Until We Meet Again!." As the title suggested, Goku finally said goodbye. It was clearly the most anticipated chapter of the anime. Universe 7, as the spoilers hinted, won the Tournament of Power. Goku, Freeza and Android 17 got teamed-up against Jiren, who was often dubbed as the strongest in the tournament.
