Tamra Judge and her "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars will be joined by some new cast members during the 13th season of the Bravo reality series, which is currently filming in Southern California. According to a new report, Kathleen French, the Senior Vice President of Current Production at Bravo TV, recently spoke to The Daily Dish hosts Megan Segura and Rachael Roberts about the future of the show.

"There will be new faces on ['The Real Housewives of Orange County'] and I'm going to leave it at that," French revealed on February 27. While French can't reveal any details about who may be joining the cast quite yet, Shannon Beador shared a photo of herself on Instagram weeks ago and in the photo, she was seen with a woman by the name of Marcy McKenna.

In the caption, she told fans that she was filming day one of the 13th season.

How are new 'Real Housewives' stars discovered?

According to Kathleen French, she and her fellow staffers behind the scenes at Bravo TV are always trying to keep things fresh on the show and love to introduce new friends to viewers of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." However, when it comes to bringing in people who aren't already part of the circles of friends of their current cast members, they aren't always open to the idea. Instead, they try to find people who fit into the group organically.

The group also tries to get familiarized with the life happenings of their reality stars prior to the start of production.

"So the question when starting the next season is, 'What are you doing now?,' 'Who are you hanging with?,' 'Anyone new in your life?'" French explained, adding that those questions are asked of the women before filming. As for what goes into finding the perfect "Real Housewife," French said that contenders have to be ready, willing, and able to expose their lives to the cameras.

Who is returning to 'RHOC' after Season 12?

Once production wrapped on Season 12 at the end of last year, Meghan King Edmonds revealed she was returning to St. Louis, where she and husband Jim would be living full time and raising their kids. Weeks later, Lydia Mclaughlin and Peggy Sulahian announced to their fans on social media that they would not be back for Season 13, which leaves just four cast members: Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, and Kelly Dodd.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 13 will air on Bravo TV sometime later this year.
