Luke Pell is getting a really had time from everyone for the way he treated Stassi on the show "Bachelor Winter Games." Now, Luke is going to People and sharing all about his thoughts on what went down and says it isn't his fault that Stassi was confused.
Luke is in love
The thing is Luke Pell says that he is in love now, but not with Stassi Yaramchuk. Instead, Luke is in love with his ex-girlfriend. Luke explains that when he joined the show he was just going through a breakup. It was a relationship that had nothing to do with "The Bachelor." Luke is happy now.
Now, Luke Pell is sharing his thoughts and said "During that time, I really started reflecting on where my heart was at and I started thinking a lot about my ex, honestly. I came to the epiphany of saying, ‘My heart is with somebody else.’" He went on to say that he wants the best for Stassi, but it really does seem like there was a lot of confusion when this all went down on the show.
What happened after filming?
Luke Pell shared that after filming he had a long talk with Stassi. He was certain that she understood that they were over, but when the show aired she didn't act like she had any idea at all. They lived in different countries, it wouldn't have been an easy relationship anyway. He says that they actually talked for hours about it after filming was over and had a great talk.
According to Pell, he got home and realized that his heart was with his ex and they got back together right away. He is back with his ex Holly Allen and Luke says that they are getting along great. It sounds like he just found the one he should be with and maybe Luke Pell will be done with reality television after this is time.
Luke does hate that he hurt Stassi, but according to him, he was totally shocked by the way she acted on the show when they reconnected. He wasn't expecting her to be the way she was toward him. Luke says that he was trying to be respectful of his new girlfriend and didn't expect for Stassi to act that way at all. He didn't think she would be emotional like she was, but that was how it turned out.
Luke Pell is getting so much hate for the way he treated her, but everyone has to remember that there are two sides to this story.
