The cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore" is all grown up but that doesn't mean they can't still bring the drama. Once the "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" series was announced, excitement started building and fans cannot wait.

Its already been confirmed that popular cast members Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Pauly D, Jennifer "JWOWW" Farley, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Vinnie Guadagnino, Deena Cortese, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are returning. With filming underway, it looks like the return of the popular reality stars is happening a lot sooner than MTV fans expected.

What brought about the 'Jersey Shore' revival?

Back in August, the E! Network aired "Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore" and brought the popular MTV cast back together. According to TV Guide, that reunion show served as a pilot episode for what's to come and proved that fans never forgot about the "Jersey Shore" cast. In the years since the drama-filled series stopped airing, there has always been interest in what many of the cast members have been up to and now we finally get to see them back and it's almost like they never even left.

When we catch back up with the crew, they won't be in Jersey. Its already been confirmed that the "Family Vacation" will be taking place in Miami. The scenery may be the only thing that's changed, though.

In a new trailer promoting "Jersey Shore Family Vacation," fans can see that the cast is still drinking and partying, which means there will most likely be plenty of drama.

Jersday is coming back!

It looks like Thursdays will be getting a lot more exciting on MTV. They are already promoting the return of "Jersday," a term coined during the first run of the uber-popular "Jersey Shore" because the show aired on Thursday nights.

It looks like MTV isn't even going to try and change that up when the show returns on Thursday, April 5 at 8/7 central.

So far, the only real detail that fans aren't clear on is whether or not Sammi' "Sweetheart" Giancola will be there for the "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" cast reunion. Fans have longed for Sammi and Ronnie to reunite over the years and this could be their big chance.

It was previously reported that she wouldn't be coming back to the reunion show. However, back in January, JWoww told Us Weekly that she still hopes her friend will return, even if she's just there for a visit.

“In my head, in my dreams of dreams, I really hope that [Sammi] pops in,” JWOWW told Us. “Yeah, it’s gonna be different. I wish she would be on it but I understand why she’s not going to be on it.”

Don't miss out when "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" premieres on April 5 at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
