Over the weekend, Episode 128 of “Dragon Ball Super” aired and gave fans a plethora of emotions. The episode is titled “Noble Pride To The End, Vegeta Falls.” It featured the Prince of All Saiyans as he fought against Universe 11’s Jiren the Gray in the hope of keeping his Saiyan Pride, protecting his loved ones, and preserving the survival of Universe 7. It appears that the team behind the popular anime series gave Vegeta the spotlight that he rightly deserves. However, his heroic feat was cut short in the most recent episode and some fans believe the Prince was shortchanged and deserve so much more tribute.

Overshadowed royalty

The first half of Episode 128 of “Dragon Ball Super” shows the Prince of All Saiyans has an indomitable spirit. For countless times, Jiren beat the heck out of the fighter.

He was almost eliminated and the only thing that kept him going was his desire for Universe 7 to win and his love for Bulma, Trunks, and Bulla. During his last seconds in the arena of the World of the Void, his punches were not connecting. Finally, Jiren landed a strong punch that sent him out of the Tournament of Power.

Interestingly, the second part of the episode showed Son Goku being beaten by the strongest Pride Trooper. The beating continued until the fan-favorite Saiyan broke through his limits and unleashed the godly form also known as the Ultra-Instinct Omen. While the team behind the popular anime series gave Vegeta the tribute that he rightly deserves, showcasing Goku’s limit-breaking form [VIDEO] as part of the episode, in a way makes fans forget about Vegeta and his epic fight with Jiren the Gray.

It overlaps with the Prince’s heroic feat since many fans are more interested to see Son Goku perfect the godly power.

Other details

Since the Tournament of Power commenced in the Universe Survival Arc, Vegeta has eliminated many fighters from other participating universes. In fact, he has the highest number of fighters eliminated. He could have been the tournament’s MVP if it will be based on the most numbers of kicked out players. The Prince of All Saiyans wanted to fight until the end to fulfill his promise to Cabba [VIDEO]. He also would like to see Bulma and his family again after the tournament ends.

While Jiren the Gray is fighting to discover what lies beyond strength and to make a wish to the super Dragon Balls, Vegeta’s mission is more noble. The next episode of “Dragon Ball Super” is scheduled to air on March 4 and will feature the much-awaited fight between Son Goku and Jiren the Gray.
