Bookout revealed that one of her friends had been in an accident and that he would need medical help. By the sounds of it, he had been in an accident because of his dirt bike and Maci was asking her followers for prayers. She included a link to a GoFundMe page where people could donate money to support him with his medical bills. At first, fans were furious that Maci was asking her followers for help, especially since he doesn't have the proper health insurance.
It didn't take long for people to slam Maci for asking her followers for money. Bookout makes thousands of dollars for filming "Teen Mom OG," so people thought it was rude of her to ask for help. According to a new Instagram comment, Maci Bookout is supposedly doing much more than "Teen Mom OG" viewers know. An Instagram follower revealed that Bookout herself had donated money herself and was paying for a hotel room for the victim's family members.

According to the comment on Instagram, Maci herself has taken this seriously. She has donated $1,000 herself and the Instagram user claims that Maci is also paying for a hotel room for Taylor Nichols' parents, so they can be close to their son.
The follower continues to point out that the crash was so serious that Taylor may lose all movement from the waist down, which is why Maci was asking for prayers.

It's also important to note that Maci Bookout did donate money herself to help out her friend. After asking fans for financial help, many people reacted on the Instagram post, slamming Bookout.
Many couldn't believe that she would ask for money considering she's made thousands of dollars from her role on "Teen Mom OG." Many pointed out that she could possibly pay for all of his medical bills no problem. Of course, this isn't Maci's responsibility and she's doing something great by helping out a little bit. It's important to know that Bookout could be doing a lot more to help out her friend during this tough time, even though all of her actions won't be on social media for the world to analyze. Her main priority may be her children and her friends.
