On Saturday, Jacob Roloff shared news of his engagement with the world. The "Little People, Big World" son took to Instagram with news of his intent to wed Isabel Rock Garreton and even added a beautiful message for his bride to be. Jacob also revealed that the engagement had been kept a secret for quite some time.

"...we got ENGAGED! It happened in Iceland on the frozen pond, Tjörnin, late on Christmas So much love for this beautiful soul @izzysofia_. Here’s to many more Christmas’, you n me," Jacob wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of the couple.

Isabel shared the news first

Jacob Roloff's engagement news post is getting a lot of attention. However, he's not the one who shared the news first. Likely just minutes before Jacob's post, Isabel also shared a photo from a shoot they did together. In her message she wrote, "We are finally ready to share with everyone... WE ARE ENGAGED!!! Thank you so much to @moniqueserraphotography for the photos taken in the place we both grew up."

Based on that message, it looks like the "Little People, Big World" alum and his fiance waited until after getting engagement photos to tell the world about their upcoming marriage. The Roloff Farm is located just west of Portland, Oregon in neighboring Hillsboro.

Considering that area is where Jacob grew up, it's safe to say that the photos were taken either on or near the family farm. The scenery is beautiful and the couple looks incredibly happy in the shots they shared. Monique Sera is credited as the photographer for Jacob Roloff and Isabel Rock Garreton. She often does engagement photography in Northwestern Oregon.

What is in the future for Jacob Roloff and his fiance?

Jacob Roloff hasn't been featured on "Little People Big World" in some time. He left the show and famously feuded with his family, even making headlines in December for unfollowing Jeremy's wife Audrey on Instagram. Jacob has always been considered a rebel and with rumors that he may be writing a tell-all about his family, it looks like he won't be headed back to his famous family's TLC hit.

Instead, Jacob Roloff and Isabel Rock Garreton have their own project to work on. After making waves for slamming his parents' hit "Little People, Big World" again back in May 2017, the couple announced that they would be making their own web series. Unlike what his famous family has done, Jacob and Isabel began filming "Rock & Roloff Road Trip" where they document their travels.

Despite all the feuding in recent months, Jacob's mom, Amy Roloff seems pretty excited about her son's engagement. She posted on Facebook and Instagram to congratulate the happy couple. Tori Roloff also congratulated the couple, leaving her well wishes right on the Instagram post that Jacob made.
