The Tournament of Power in “Dragon Ball Super” is going to end soon. The news broke out last week that the popular anime series would officially end airing on March 31. After Episode 124, only six minutes are remaining until the winner of the hotly contested universal competition is declared. During the airing of the episode, the Grand Priest Daishinkan said something that might strongly support the theory of a second tournament in the next installment of the anime series.

Second competition

On January 21, Episode 124 of “Dragon Ball Super” aired and most of the fans were disappointed. The episode showcased the battle between Gohan of Universe 7 and the Super-High-Speed Dyspo of Universe 11.

With the young Saiyan’s quick thinking, he was able to curtail the playing field [VIDEO] restraining his opponent's ground and making it easier to fight and catch him. The extra fast fight triggered the Zenos to use the special feature of their Godpads in order to view the action in a special slow-motion mode. The gods of all complained to the Grand Priest Daishinkan telling him that even the devices’ special feature prevented them to view the action.

To this, Daishinkan said that next time, he would make sure that the Godpads of the Zenos will allow them to view even the extremely fast actions of the fighters in the arena. This confirms that the second Tournament of Power is bound to happen in the future. In addition, all throughout the tournament, the gods of all are delighted seeing powerful fighters from competing universes trade blows and attacks in the arena.

There is a great possibility that they might request for the same event to be held soon. It might be the universal version of the Budokai Tenkaichi.

Other details

There is a theory circulating on the web right now that Universe 7 fighters will wish to the Super Dragon Balls that the erased universes would be restored. The gods of all might let this wish pass because they intend to hold the same competition in the future. The Tournament of Power [VIDEO] might happen again in the future installment of the popular anime series. It might be given a different name under a new arc. Whatever the case, fans would be on their toes wishing that this would happen soon.

Meanwhile, Episode 125 of “Dragon Ball Super” is scheduled to air on January 28. It will showcase the fight between Son Goku, Vegeta, and Jiren the Gray. In addition, it will highlight the ascension of Toppo from Universe 11 to the god of destruction level.
