"Dragon Ball Super" has released Episode 122 on Sunday, January 7. With this episode, the tournament of Power has reached its final stage. How is Jiren defeated in the tournament?

Universe 7 fans are hoping for Jiren's defeat as he is currently fighting Goku and Vegeta in the tournament.

He is dubbed as the most powerful warrior in the Universal Survival arc's Tournament of Power. He is even more powerful than the God Of Destruction. There are theories about him, saying he is the fusion of his entire race.

Currently, there is almost no warrior alone who can beat Jiren. So how will he be eliminated in the tournament?

Recently, a theory of how Jiren could be defeated in the tournament came into the limelight. According to the theory, only Jiren, Vegeta, and Goku will be left for the final match of the tournament. Android 17, Toppo, Gohan, Frieza, and Dyspo are expected to be eliminated earlier. To beat Jiren, Goku and Vegeta might go for fusion with each other. The fusion of Universe 7's duo will later turn out to be the cause of Jiren's elimination. Or, at least they will be able to draw against the most powerful warrior of the tournament.

What happened in Episode 122?

According to ComicBook, Episode 122 begins properly with a stare down between Universe 7 and Universe 11's final competitors.

Jiren and Goku started the fight. Vegeta was carefully analyzing the moves of Jiren when he was fighting his teammate Goku. Later, Vegeta lands a couple of punches on Jiren, which was not surprising as the preview of Episode 122 has already hinted at the incident. As the clash proceeds, Jiren makes a solid comeback and used KI blast, which rings Vegeta out. At the ending part of the episode, Jiren disparages Vegeta for his self-righteousness, but Vegeta declares that it is the source of his strength. He powers up a Final Flash and goads Jiren into taking it head-on. However, the attack fails to damage Jiren. Overall, nothing decisive happened in this part of "Dragon Ball Super." Gohan and Android 17 fought Toppo [VIDEO]and Frieza battled Dyspo elsewhere in the episode.

Meanwhile, Episode 123 will release on January 13. Readers are advised that a part of the article is based on a theory and for confirmation, fans have to wait for the official episodes [VIDEO], which are yet to come. Stay tuned for more news and updates on "Dragon Ball Super."
