There is one great reason why Jiren the Gray is not yet kicking Son Goku and Vegeta out of the Tournament of Power in “Dragon Ball Super.” With only seven minutes remaining until the tournament finally ends, by now, fans know that Jiren the Gray is the strongest fighter in the arena of the World of the Void. Aside from the fan-favorite characters in the popular anime series, the strongest Pride Trooper is one of the most intriguing and most hyped fighters that fans would like to get to know more.

Interestingly, a new theory is making rounds online claiming to have discovered Jiren’s reason for keeping the Saiyans in the arena.

Hidden motive

Fans saw Jiren in action during the one-hour special of “Dragon Ball Super.” Because of his unbelievable strength and power, Son Goku was able to break through his limits and achieved the Ultra-Instinct Omen [VIDEO].

However, this was not enough to defeat the Pride Trooper, when the power has worn off, instead of kicking Son Goku out of the arena, he just defeated him. The same happened to the Prince of All Saiyans Vegeta.

Because he could not easily defeat Jiren, Vegeta broke through his limits and unleashed his new form.In several scenes, while fighting both Son Goku and Vegeta, Jiren can be heard uttering several words. He noted that Vegeta’s punch was arrogant while he predicted the limit of Goku’s power during their first fight. In Episode 123, the Pride Trooper asked the Saiyans in their powerful forms to come and attack him. His speech resembles that of a teacher training his students and sharpening their skills.

Other details

This is where the latest theory about Jiren’s motive was rooted. According to anime blogger Wamiq Fida, it is possible that Jiren is training the Saiyans to use them in the future.

The blogger predicts that after the Tournament of Power, there might be a battle between the mortals and the angels, the gods, or with the Grand Priest. Knowing that Saiyans have the unbelievable will to fight and survive battles, he might find Son Goku and Vegeta useful for future use.

While this theory is very possible, the blogger failed to acknowledge the fact that only one universe will survive at the end of the tournament. If Goku and his team survive the tournament there is a great chance that this theory will most likely happen. However, if Universe 11 wins [VIDEO], it is possible that they will not wish for the other erased universes to be brought back to life. There are still a lot of twists that fans are expecting to see before the Tournament of Power in “Dragon Ball Super” ends.
