With the revelation of Kafla, fans of "Dragon Ball Super" are looking forward to more possibilities in the anime which includes the fusion of Vegeta and Goku in the Tournament of Power. In a recent interview with the anime's creator, Akira Toriyama, he revealed something about the anime.

The preview for episode 114 gave the first look of Kafla [VIDEO] or Kefura in Japanese. Many noticed that Kafla is wearing the Potara earrings which manifest that Kale and Caulifla fused using it. Because of this, fans think that it is also possible for Vegito to appear. Others speculate that the fusion of Goku and Vegeta will defeat Jerin.

But what does Toriyama think about it?

Toriyama did not intend to include Vegito

In an interview on the fourth collected volume of the "Dragon Ball Super" manga, Toriyama revealed that he didn't intend to include Vegito in the anime. To recall, Vegito appeared in the Future Trunks saga where he faced Future Zamasu.

During their fight, Vegito wasn't able to defeat Future Zamasu since he defused into Goku and Vegeta when he is about to hit him with a god aura-cloaked punch. This happened because the power of the two Saiyans was used up when they turned Super Saiyan Blue and there isn't enough power to sustain the fusion. Their fusion didn't even last for one hour, which is the expected length of time for the Potara fusion.

Toriyama said that he just included Vegito because he wants to give fans something exciting.

In truth, Toriyama thinks that the personalities of Goku and Vegeta after the Buu Saga made it impossible for them to fuse again. Does this mean that he can actually include Vegito again in the Tournament of Power if more fans expect to see him?

Vegito in the Tournament of Power

The statement of Toriyama tells us that Vegito was just there to make fans happy. Although he didn't last too long, his fight with Future Zamasu is worth watching over and over again. If the "Dragon Ball Super" creator will listen to the anime's fans, Vegito might indeed make an appearance in the Tournament of Power. But like in the Future Trunks saga, he might not last too long as well.

It is noted that Goku hasn't fully recovered yet after his match with Jiren and he already used his energy while fighting other warriors. He will also use more energy as he turns Super Saiyan Blue in his fight with fused Kale and Caulifla. With that, he wouldn't have enough power [VIDEO] to fuse with Vegeta yet. It is noted that Freeza only shared some of his energy with Goku to help him. On the other hand, Vegeta saved his power by not sharing it with Goku during his fight with Jiren. Is Vegeta planning something? Or will he use it while fighting Toppo?
