After reports on Meghan Markle leaving “Suits,” the 36-year-old star was spotted filming on the set of the television show on Wednesday, October 18, in Toronto. The actress, who plays the role of Rachel Zane, is now back to work after reportedly enjoying a cup of tea with Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II.
It looks like the Queen has approved Markle. Also, Prince Charles and Camilla reportedly like their son's girlfriend. Is a royal wedding underway?
The engagement's planning
Daily Mail reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were riding a Ford Galaxy as they were driven to the gates of Buckingham Palace.
They were making their way to Queen Elizabeth’s private entrance.
They were sent to the second-oldest current serving state leader’s private sitting room. It is located on the palace's first floor with an overlooking to the mansion's garden and Constitution Hill. The couple was reportedly there for a tea with the queen. So, the meeting quickly led to rumors that they are now planning for the two’s engagement.
Insiders revealed that Prince Harry talked to his grandmother about meeting Markle during the summer at Balmoral. In fact, his girlfriend is already a regular visitor to the place. On the other hand, Princes Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are impressed of the “Suits” actress and find her “very pleasant and a nice girl.”
Alleged details of the next royal wedding
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent visit to the Buckingham Palace is believed to be a sign of the nearing announcement of the couple's engagement.
In fact, Daily Star reported that the pair now has a date for their royal wedding. An insider revealed that the two want to get married in the summer of 2018.
As his brother Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their baby number three in April, Prince Harry doesn’t want to take everyone’s attention from them. Thus, they choose to do it in summer.
Also, the Duchess of Cambridge needs to have proper time to heal after giving birth. She even needs to recover before attending her brother-in-law’s big event.
“The most likely date is early summer 2018, which neatly ties in with Harry and Meghan’s second anniversary,” Vanity Fair quotes a source saying.. Another informant revealed that there is a big possibility that they will choose their ceremony to be held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
It is said to be a “strictly private ceremony.”
The source added that even if Markle is not wearing an engagement ring, they are good as engaged. They are even openly talking about their wedding plans with their friends and family.
