Dragon Ball Super” may have reached the halfway point of the Tournament of Power, but it doesn’t mean that the Universal survival Arc is ending anytime soon. The current arc kicked off in February 2017 and the folks behind the popular anime are apparently taking their best possible time. That is of course to deliver smooth and seamless stories that revolve around our favorite heroes and the iconic villains in the franchise. One of the anime’s voice actors previously said that they aim to reach 700 more episodes for the entire series, which means that there will be a lot of stories to tell.

Universal Survival Arc won’t end too soon

The second half of the tournament kicks off this weekend, which will focus on Vegeta [VIDEO], who will save Cabba, a Saiyan fighter from Universe 6.

There might be some fans that expect the current arc might conclude as soon as the battle royal ends. However, one knownDragon Ball Super fan and translator GovetaXV took to Twitter and suggested that it might not end until April 2018. "In my opinion "Universe Survival Arc" will go until March....maybe April 2018," he wrote. "Note: Universe Survival is not = Tournament of Power Arc!"

He also added that the tournament might also conclude at least until January 2018. If we try to look at what’s happening right now, it only makes sense if the battle royal will take a few more months before it ends. “Dragon Ball Super” has just delivered the climactic battle between Goku and Jiren, but it has yet to show more of the hero’s new transformation called Ultra Instinct. At this time, the Saiyan warrior is still recovering from the gruesome fight, which means that there are still a lot of things the anime has in store for us.

Goku and Jiren’s rematch

One of the things that hype a lot of fans is the rematch between Goku and Jiren [VIDEO]. The strongest Pride Trooper put the hero into trouble during their fight despite the latter’s Ultra Instinct form. For a brief time, the Saiyan warrior had access to it, but it was too powerful no one was able to see his movements. The form also overwhelmed the Saiyan and the massive Genki Dama a.k.a Spirit Bomb almost killed him.

The birth of a Super Warrior

It’s not just Goku and Jiren’s rematch that “Dragon Ball Super” fans have been anticipating. Everyone is also stoked by an upcoming episode that will introduce the new powerful warrior. It is still unknown as to who this warrior would be. However, rumors are rife that this might be a fusion between Kale and Caulifla, who are set to fight Goku in one of the upcoming episodes. Apparently, there are still a lot of stories left to tell.
