Ben Affleck, the 45-year old actor, is reportedly on a house hunt in Los Angeles. He was spotted out and about, accompanied by his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus. The couple was photographed in Santa Monica on Tuesday, and both reportedly went to visit both an eight and a ten-bedroom home. The couple looked casual during their house hunting. The actor sported a plain, black shirt and purple pants.
Meanwhile, Shookus, the "Saturday Night Live" producer, was seen walking behind the actor in her black top and ripped jeans. In a report obtained by People, it was learned that Affleck was looking for a house suitable for his family.
His girlfriend offered to give him some ideas, however, it is still not sure yet if they're buying the house together.
Touring for a home
The couple was first spotted touring an $18.5 million house. It was situated somewhere in Santa Monica and it has eight bedrooms, 10 baths, a movie theater, and a gym according to the listing. They also visited another house in the Pacific Palisades which is listed for $11.9 million. The house has five bedrooms, a six-car showroom garage, and six baths.
Despite the details provided by the real estate broker, Affleck wasn't sure yet if he's going to purchase the house they visited. According to a report by People, all the houses they visited were fairly close to where Jennifer Garner lives.
A source told People that Affleck wants to live near his kids as his children are the most important thing for him.

Enjoying time with Lindsay
While the actor spent time looking for the best house to buy, another source told Entertainment Tonight that he has been enjoying his time with Shookus.
It was learned that he's very happy and is focusing his attention on staying healthy. Following the split with Garner, it seems that the actor is trying to move forward and just enjoy the company of his new-found romance.
The couple first went in public back in July, which was two months after the former couple officially filed for a divorce.
Since then, Affleck and Shookus have been constantly seen hanging out together. They were spotted spending date nights together both in New York City and Los Angeles.
It was also reported that the Oscar-winning actor was photographed accompanying Shookus at the recent Emmy Awards last August. Fans are excited about the house hunting and some of them found it interesting that he took his girlfriend along to help search for the best family home.
