"Teen Mom" stars Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have parted ways. However, new reports suggest that the mom of three is contemplating on getting back with her ex as the pair joins the new season of "marriage boot camp: Reality Stars." The upcoming season is set to premiere on Oct. 13. Many are wondering why the exes have decided to go through couples therapy together when they are already divorced. According to Kailyn, she is doing her best for son, Lincoln.
Kailyn and Javi are joining 'Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars'
Kailyn and Javi's marriage turned sour in the last season of "Teen Mom 2." The pair has decided to part ways and has filed for divorce already which was finalized in December 2016.
Since then they have moved on from each other. In fact, Kailyn just gave birth to her youngest son with a new baby daddy, Chris Lopez. Thus, many are wondering why the couple is joining the reality show that aims to save marital bonds, In Touch Weekly reported.
To make things clear, Kailyn and Javi filmed for the reality show a year ago. It happened two months before their divorce was finalized. She confessed that there were times when reconciling with Javi crossed her mind. There were moments when she felt that things could have worked, but something else happened. So, she just reminded herself that there's a reason why they got divorced and stressed that it won’t ever work again for the both of them.
So, Kailyn and Javi are not getting back, but she is hoping that the therapy will help her and Javi improve their relationship as this is what’s best for their son.
This is not the first time the exes were rumored to be getting back together. In June, the pair triggered the reconciliation rumors when Javi posted a photo of himself wearing a watch that Kailyn gave him.
She asked him about the watch and if he is still wearing it following their split. He told her that he still does because it reminded him of the good times they had.
Javi accused Kailyn of cheating on him
Although Kailyn and Javi are trying to be amicable, their split was not that friendly. In fact, Javi accused Kailyn of infidelity.
Meanwhile, she fired back and claimed that Javi was controlling during their relationship. In fact, he would often call her to check if she was not doing anything "sneaky." It dawned on Kailyn that her ex-husband did not trust her and it hurt her.
Also, Javi and Kailyn have been throwing shades at each other after their split. However, lately things have calmed down between the two, and they have stopped saying bad things about each other. In fact, Javi congratulated Kailyn when she delivered her baby with Lopez.
