The first trailer of "Fifty Shades Freed," the final chapter in the movie adaptation based on a novel by author E.L. James, has earned more than 3 million views on YouTube. The first teaser revealed a wedding, more intense sex scenes, and a shirtless Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey.

Anastasia Steele was shown living her life as Mrs. Grey, which included both yacht rides and beaches. The new teaser also showed some exciting moments in the plot, such as Grey seemingly holding a gun.

The video also revealed some steamy scenes suggesting that the movie will offer more intensified erotic scenes than the first two installments.

The upcoming movie is also expected to present some action-packed scenes, The Huffington Post noted.

‘Fifty Shades Freed’

“Fifty Shades Freed” is the third movie in the popular trilogy that has captivated worldwide readers. The upcoming film follows the previous two parts titled “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Fifty Shades Darker.” The second installment which was released in 2017 ended with the engagement of Grey and Steele.

The full trailer of the long-awaited movie will be released in November before it is released worldwide in February 2018, CBS reported. The movie is expected to earn the top box-office spots just like its two predecessors.

“Fifty Shades Freed” was directed by James Foley, the director who is known for the 1996 thriller movie “Fear” and TV series “House of Cards.” Michael De Luca, E.L.

James, Marcus Viscidi and Dana Brunetti teamed up to produce the film. Niall Leonard wrote the screenplay.

Box-office performance

Box Office Mojo has all the details of the box-office performances of the previous “Fifty Shades” movies. The first installment in the series earned more than $570 million from its worldwide release and more than $160 million from its domestic release.

During the opening weekend, it earned around $85 million.

Meanwhile, “Fifty Shades Darker” earned more than $370 million in its worldwide release, noticeably less than the first part of the franchise. During the opening weekend, it earned around $46 million. Box Office Mojo pointed out that the second installment was released to more than 3,500 theaters worldwide.

Aside from Jamie Dornan, actress Dakota Johnson is back to reprise the role of Steele, with the other cast members such as Tyler Hoechlin, Max Martini, and Luke Grimes. Rita Ora and Arielle Kebbel are also part of the cast.
