Dragon Ball Super” fans can recall when Whis previously said before the Tournament of Power started that there is a Mortal from a certain universe that is stronger than a God Of Destruction. To this date, most fans suggest that this mortal warrior is no other than Jiren The Grey, a member of the Pride Troopers from Universe 11. Toppo, the God of Destruction of U11 has told Goku before that even if they fuse their powers, they can never surpass Jiren, who is deemed as U11’s strongest warrior.

However, in recent manga scan, it seems that this warrior could be from a different universe [VIDEO]. It’s unclear whether he is joining the current battle royal.

Who is this mortal warrior?

In the manga version of “Dragon Ball Super,” the recent scan seemingly revealed that this mortal warrior might be from Universe 2.

It has been teased before that the fighter resides in a universe with a God of Destruction who is stronger than Beerus. The Universe 7 god admitted that he only lost to Quitela to an arm wrestle but denied that the U2 god is stronger than him. To make it clear, Whis, the Angel of U7 made it clear that it’s not Quitela he was talking about but it’s the mortal warrior who’s possibly from the god’s universe.

Is the mortal fighter part of the tournament?

“Dragon Ball Super” has yet to introduce several warriors from the remaining six universes. The two Namekian warriors from Universe 6 have been teased in the previous episode, but they have yet to show off what they can do in the Tournament of Power.

Other teams such as Universe 2 still have Ribrianne, a magical girl who is skilled in different transformations. What’s more interesting is that it’s possible that this strongest mortal warrior is also part of the battle royale. Otherwise, he might just let Goku and Jiren fight for now and might just come out once the battle ends.

The next possible arc

If this mortal warrior is not joining the tournament, it’s also possible that he will go head-to-head with Goku, but that’s going to be in the next arc of “Dragon Ball Super.” The Universal Survival Arc kicked off in February 2017 and it’s clear that the folks behind the anime have been taking their time. Apparently, if Goku and Jiren’s highly-anticipated battle sets in, the Tournament of Power might also take a step further to give way to the next possible arc. As what Goku’s Japanese voice actor previously said, they’re all aiming to deliver 700 or more episodes.

“Dragon Ball Super” Episode 109 will showcase the highly-anticipated battle between Goku and Jiren during the anime’s one-hour TV special on October 8. From there, the anime will also reveal the name of Goku’s brand new Super Saiyan transformation. It is said to be stronger than a God of Destruction.
