Dragon Ball Super” teased Goku’s brand new Super Saiyan transformation, which will debut during his climactic battle with Jiren The Grey, a member of the Pride Troopers from Universe 11. Several theories have surfaced online regarding his new form, including one that says he might power up into a Kai. The warrior is known to have tapped into different transformations before, but this new one sent fans into a frenzy. Recently, another teaser was released that made fans more stoked with his form and as expected, it’s something that we’ve never seen before in the entire franchise. Its name is not yet revealed but one of the anime’s voice actors already teased that the name is beyond our imagination [VIDEO].

New teaser released

Over the weekend, Todd Blankenship quickly shared the new teaser's English translation on Twitter [VIDEO]. Apparently, the Japanese magazine delivers a message to all fans that the new transformation is something that we don’t see coming. The warrior’s eyes have also made fans buzz and others were worried that they mirror Zamasu’s. His silver eyes are new to his Super Saiyan transformations, which is why fans think that he might end up a villain like Zamasu.

Take note of the word ‘super’

“Son Goku’s eyes are silver…!! What in the world’s going on?! Witness a shock the like of which has never before seen in DB history,” the teaser reads.

“The ‘Tournament of Power’ is heating up!! In this super-anticipated 1-hour special, Goku and the rest of Universe 7 wage a super-fierce battle against Universe 11!! And keep your eyes peeled for something big that’s going to happen to Goku!!” Looking at the new teaser, it looks like fans are being warned not to miss the part when “something big” happens to Goku. Perhaps it’s his new silver eyes that Dragon Ball Super wants us to look forward to?

Will Goku ever beat Jiren?

A new set of titles for the upcoming episodes of “Dragon Ball Super” following the climactic battle between Goku and Jiren, was also released recently. However, fans were seemingly disappointed that the Saiyan failed to defeat Jiren. The 111th episode is titled “Hit vs Jiren!!,” which only means that Goku falls short in beating the strongest Pride Trooper of Universe 11. Theories have it that Hit may step in to distract the muscular humanoid fighter to give Goku more time to overcome his form. Fans also suggest that the new transformation could be too overpowering, which may take a toll on the Saiyan warrior.

“Dragon Ball Super” Episodes 109 and 110 will both cover the long-awaited battle between Goku and Jiren. It airs on October 8 during the anime’s one-hour Tv Special. Stay tuned!
