“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” went for another foreshadowing event following the conclusion of the “Naruto Gaiden” arc. We got to see once again the students of the Academy and the titular character, Boruto. However, the primary concern of the episode was the Five Kage Summit, a meeting of all the leaders of the five great ninja nations. The main agenda of the meeting was to inform and prepare each village for another threat is approaching, and it will destroy the hard earned peace of the ninja world.

Boruto, the prankster

Just before the summit, we got to see the students doing some shuriken training, but Iwabe and Metal argued on who is the strongest among the five Kage.

Meanwhile, Sarada showed off with the results of her newly acquired Sharingan and declared her goal of becoming the next Hokage. However, Sarada kept her dojutsu a secret claiming that she should master it first before bragging it to Boruto.

Everyone was excited about the summit, but Boruto explained that the meeting was not a big deal and it is just some old men meeting up in the village. Furthermore, Boruto was excited in another matter, and that is to pull up the greatest prank of his life. The mischievous child wanted to defile the Hokage Rock by putting some graffiti on it claiming that it will be his greatest masterpiece. The young Uzumaki invited his friends to be his accomplice, Inojin and Shikadai bailed on him claiming that the security is tighter than usual and there was no way that they would not get caught.

Five Kages assemble!

Amidst the great excitement of the villagers, each leader or Kage of each village arrived with every one of them making their own versions of a dramatic entrance. The first one to arrive was the Fifth Raikage, Darui who came with a bolt of lightning. Darui was followed by the Sixth Mizukage, Chojuro who made his own entrance by making a huge cloud of mist as he walks to the venue. The next one was the Fourth Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi who came on a giant golem protruding from the ground. Last but not the least, was the fifth Kazekage, Gaara who brought a sand storm on his arrival.

The real objective of their meeting was to discuss what Sasuke was investigating and the previous threats that Konoha faced implied, the existence of a parallel dimension. Basing on the evidence present, Naruto deduced that another being greater than Kaguya was bound to appear sooner or later. Naruto notified each village of the imminent threat and suggested that they should be prepared for the battle that will ensue.
