Selena Gomez fired up Instagram when her personal account, followed by over 125 million people, uploaded a collage of Justin Bieber's nude photos from his Bora Bora trip back in October 2015. Apparently, the profile was hacked by unknown perpetrators who wrote, "Look at this nigga lil shrimpy," and promoted three accounts to follow.

According to a Variety report, the explicit post garnered more than 30,000 likes before Selena Gomez's account was placed to private for a few minutes before it was re-opened to the public without Justin Bieber's naked photos.

The explicit images were the ones published without the "Love Yourself" singer's approval. In fact, the Canadian artist felt "super violated" when his private photos reached the internet and spread like a wildfire. “Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked,” he said in an Access Hollywood interview. “Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space… especially that far away.”

Justin Bieber was with his rumored girlfriend, Jayde Piece, during his stay in Bora Bora. His rumored romance with the beauty blogger came after he and Selena Gomez officially ended their on-off relationship in October 2014.

A timeline of Justin and Selena's relationship

The teen couple was first mired in dating rumors in 2010. Their tandem received much loved from "Jelena" shippers. In January 2011, the two singers seemingly confirmed their relationship when they packed on the PDA on their St. Lucia getaway.

Since then, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have made no effort to hide their booming romance from the public. The lovebirds, however, broke the hearts of many when they called it quits a year later after the Canadian pop star was linked to model Barbara Palvin.

The young couple got back together three months after the split. The "Cold Water" singer confirmed their reconciliation when he posted their photo on Instagram which he immediately deleted.

After all their lovey-dovey on social media, the two eventually broke up.

Selena Gomez even admitted that her song, "The Heart Wants What It Wants," was about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. The singer-actress was even emotional when she performed the single at the 2014 American Music Awards.

Shortly after the split, Justin Bieber was linked to Hailey Baldwin, while Selena Gomez was mired in dating rumors with Zedd. Despite what happened in their relationship, the Canadian singer credited his ex-girlfriend for inspiring him to write "What Do You Mean," "Sorry" and "Mark My Words" from his "Purpose" album.
