Supergirl” understandably centered the series around Kara Zor-el and the life she has lived on Earth. Despite this, the said CW show managed to beautifully introduce new superheroes without drifting away from the main protagonist.

Several characters that made memorable appearances alongside Supergirl are The "Man of Steel" himself – Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood); Miss Martian (Sharon Leal), Mon-El (Chris Wood) and The Guardian (Mehcad Brooks). While the participation of each role was beefed up in the series, avid viewers are wondering if Legion Of Superheroes is set to join the show.

‘Supergirl’ Easter eggs

According to We Got This Covered, Easter eggs were continuously offered up to date. One of them is the unmistakable Legion ring at the headquarters of the Kryptonian superheroes – Supergirl and Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. The report suggests that the possible involvement of Legion might happen in “Supergirl” season 3.

Meanwhile, another thing that might explain the Legion’s involvement in the series is Mon-El, Supergirl, and Superman’s individual stories with the group. This connection might lead to where the Legion can show up anytime. Now, everything starts to make sense for the series.

A Sign that the Legion is coming

It can be recalled that the Prince of Daxam, Mon-el, disappeared into some kind of vortex in season 2 finale.

Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg shared via TV Guide Magazine’s Comic-Con Special that Mon-El might spend his time in the 31st century.

He added that where he went and how he will be able to come back are two of the main mysteries to be solved at the beginning of season 3. Kreisberg even described some avid comic book readers who almost hit the jackpot, as they guess the next scenarios that could happen in the upcoming season.

On the other hand, additional information is expected to be revealed in San Diego Comic-Con 2017. Lots of mysteries are meant to be answered, but fans should keep it together, as producers obviously won’t unveil all the cards easily.

The season 2 finale ended with Mon El’s departure from Earth. Our previous report also revealed Alex Danvers and Maggie Sawyer’s possible marriage in the first few episodes of season 3. Furthermore, viewers should still watch out for Brainiac 5 and his comrades, who reportedly exist in the 30th and 31st century. “Supergirl” season 3 returns from its hiatus in October.
