"The Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bialik doesn’t have any idea what her character, Amy Farrah Fowler, will do when the show returns for season 11 on CBS. The actress admitted she was shocked about last season's finale where Amy received a marriage proposal from her long-term boyfriend Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

Mayim Bialik revealed to Fox News that she did not see the proposal coming when she first read the script. She's also clueless on how Amy will take the proposal in “The Big Bang Theory” season 11, which has yet to begin production.

She has no spoilers

"If you want me to tell you what happens in the season opener of Season 11… I can’t, because I don’t know," Mayim Bialik told the news outlet. "Your guess is as good as mine!"

She also said she's waiting for what “The Big Bang Theory” writers will come up with. "I could see this playing out several ways," the sitcom star said.

Fans of the couple were nonetheless thrilled about the actors' recent exchange on Instagram where she posted a photo of Amy and Sheldon together. Jim Parsons commented,"We're still a pretty cute people, no?" he said and ended his message with a heart emoji.

Her comeback was unplanned

Meanwhile, Mayim Bialik revealed she did not plan on making a TV comeback via "The Big Bang Theory" but a real life dilemma led her to work on the set again.

The actress used to headline her own TV show as a teen in the 1990s series "Blossoms," but she pursued college and went on to become a neuroscience teacher.

"I was running out of health insurance and figured if I could even get a couple of acting jobs here and there," she told Rolling Stone critic Peter Travers in an interview.

She also revealed that returning to acting full-time was not part of her original plan but "The Big Bang Theory" role lured her in.

Mayim Bialik has been part of the main cast of “The Big Bang Theory” since the third season and she has landed a good deal when the show renewed her contract for season 11 and season 12. CBS raised her talent fee to $500,000 per episode from the $175,000 to $200,000 per episode she was getting in the previous seasons.

She’s currently on vocal rest

The actress revealed in late June that doctors advised her to be on vocal rest for a month because she, unfortunately, sprained her vocal chord. Mayim Bialik, however, doesn’t stop communicating on social media and has been using white boards and gestures for the most part.

Sometimes, her 11-year-old son helps her speak on her behalf in her Instagram stories. Her healing won’t affect filming schedule for “The Big Bang Theory” though as the cast won’t be back on the set until early August.
