British director Edgar Wright has found a gem in "Baby Driver" as the Movie made its debut in movie theaters. The movie has been smashing box office records since its premiere on June 28, 2017.

The critically acclaimed action movie follows the talented Baby (Ansel Elgort). He becomes an orphan due to a fatal car accident which killed both of his parents. Aside from the bad memories, he also sustained a longtime disability from Titanus that left him with a permanent ringing in his ears.
Baby secretly works as the getaway driver for bank robbers and criminals.
He did not have any choice but to work under Doc (Kevin Spacey) in order to pay a longtime debt. The later gives him various missions even coercing with dangerous criminals. However, when he faces a chance to start a new life, Baby must now choose if he wants to live well or keep his loved ones safe from harm.
"The Fault in Our Stars" actor Ansel Elgort leads the star-studded cast alongside "House of Cards" mainstay Kevin Spacey. Lily James ("Cinderella") plays the role of Baby's love interest. Joining them are Jon Hamm ("Mad Men"), Jamie Foxx ("Django Unchained"), Jon Bernthal ("The Walking Dead") and Eiza Gonzales ("From Dusk Till Dawn").
'Baby Driver' review and ratings: the movie made Edgar Wright more successful
"Baby Driver" is director Edgar Wright's most successful opening for a movie with a huge commercial earning during its debut weekend run. The film exceeded the $15-20 million bracket that the production team predicted in the past. It already earned $21 million domestically and an additional $9 million internationally.
According to Screen Rant, the Ansel Elgort-starrer made history after it earned more than all of the director's previous movies, outside of "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," which it will pass early this upcoming week. Wright is known for his "The Three Flavor Cornetto" flicks starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The trilogy includes "Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz," and "The World's End."
Rotten Tomatoes revealed that "Baby Driver" had a 97 percent rating with 192 "fresh" and only five "rotten" reviews as of press time.
It got a 86 percent Metacritic score and 8.5/10 rating from IMDb.
Chicago Times writer Richard Roeper said that the film for being "one of the most entertaining thrill rides of this year, this decade." Meanwhile, a Village People critic then lauded Edgar Wright for delivering a convincing and concrete" action film.
