"Spider-Man Homecoming" is to be released in theaters this July. The Sony-Marvel collaboration movie stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton and, of course, Zendaya. The Disney star appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and spilled all the details about playing the character of Michelle in the blockbuster. The movie was directed by Jon Watts and co-written by writing teams such as Goldstein and Daley.

Who is Peter Parker's love interest, Michelle?

Zendaya plays the character Michelle who has been described as Peter Parker's non-traditional Love Interest.

The star admitted that, initially, she had no idea who she would be playing. She described Michelle as a loner and as a very intelligent girl with a dry humor. Zendaya spoke highly of the choice the creators made with Parker's love interest. She was proud to play a quirky love interest who has its own kind of individuality. When asked what it was like shooting with Tom Holland, Zendaya said playing his love interest was like some kind of awkward teenage phase.

Zendaya admitted her dream of appearing on the big screen with her role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming," and told Jimmy that she was excited to see the movie in its entirety. The actor has starred on the Disney Channel in shows such as "K.C Undercover" and "Shake It Up!" She is also known for her work in the modeling world and has always shown a desire to star in a major motion blockbuster.

Robert Downey Jr. features heavily in "Spider-Man: Homecoming"

Robert Downey Jr. plays superhero "Iron Man" on the big screen and, in "Spider-Man: Homecoming," he becomes a mentor to the younger Peter Parker trying to offer the young teenager advice whenever possible. The chemistry between Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland leads to some hilarious interactions between the two.

As seen in the trailer, fro example, character Tony Stark sets certain restrictions on Spider-Man's suit in a protocol referred to as "Training Wheels".

Lately, news has been circling that Robert Downey Jr. will not be featuring in the Spider-Man sequel. As a core member of The Avengers cast, it is more than likely that he will be tied up with other Marvel projects.

However, there may be the possibility of other superhero characters making an appearance in "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2".

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is due to be premiered in New York City on June 28. It will be available in US theaters come July 7 in 3D, IMAX and IMAX 3D.
